That video was made in Claude Motion from one prompt and a few reference screenshots. Every frame is code, nobody animated it by hand. Here is the prompt, so you can make your own.
What it is
An animation in Claude Motion is an artifact made from the Motion template. Claude builds it as code that animates text, charts, shapes and images.
Claude Motion does not use a video generation model, so there is no realistic footage and there are no people. That is why the prompt sticks to type, shapes, particles, charts and light.
You attach 4 to 6 screenshots of a motion reel you like as the storyboard. Claude uses the images you attach, and the prompt tells it that this is the level to beat.
Claude's help page says nothing about sound, so plan on a silent video. The prompt ends by asking Claude for a second → sound list you can follow in your editor.
Steps
Step 1. Open Claude Motion
In any chat, select Output in the message box and choose Motion. Or open the Artifacts tab, select a Motion template and describe the animation there. You need a Team or Enterprise plan, where Claude Motion is in beta.
Step 2. Attach the reference
Take 4 to 6 screenshots of the showreel we used as the reference (the link above), or of any motion reel you like. Attach them to your message. This is the storyboard the prompt talks about.
Step 3. Paste the prompt
Copy the prompt below into the same message and send it. You can swap the quoted lines, "CLAUDE MADE THIS VIDEO" and "Every frame is code.", for your own text. For a horizontal 16:9 version, change "vertical 1080x1920" to "horizontal 1920x1080".
Step 4. Push it further, one ask at a time
When the first version is ready, don't start over. Send one of these follow-ups, watch the result, then send the next. You can also ask for changes in the editor.
1. "Make it denser and faster: every scene 1 to 1.5 seconds, more movement inside each one."
2. "Add depth: three-layer parallax, glow, motion blur on fast moves, particles."
3. "Make the transitions seamless: one shape flows into the next scene, no hard cuts."
Step 5. Export and add sound
Click Export and choose MP4. Then open the video in your editor and add sounds and music, following the second → sound list Claude wrote at the end of its reply.
Copy this into Claude Motion
Make a dynamic 25-second motion graphics video, vertical 1080x1920 at 60 fps, that shows what an incredible motion designer you are, as if it were your showreel for a résumé. Go all out: a wow effect from the first second to the last. The attached storyboard is the level to beat. Show everything you can do, one technique per scene: kinetic typography, one shape morphing into another, particles that gather into words, 3D perspective with parallax in several layers, a chart that builds itself, masks and transitions through objects, glow and light, motion blur on fast moves. Rules: - first 2 seconds, big: "CLAUDE MADE THIS VIDEO"; - on-screen text short and big; - no people, faces or photos; - not a single static frame, every change lands on a 120 BPM beat; - last 3 seconds: "Every frame is code." No sound needed. At the end, write a "second → sound" list for every change.

Good to know
Make it yours
Change the two quoted lines to your own words and keep them short, they have to read at a glance. Any reel whose style you like can be the storyboard.
One change per message
Ask for one change at a time, in the chat or in the editor, so you can see what each one did and keep what works.
Sound in your editor
The second → sound list gives you a cue for every change on screen. Put a sound effect on each one and a 120 BPM music track under the whole video, so the cuts land on the beat.
The honest read
- Claude Motion is in beta and only on Team and Enterprise plans. It is on by default on Team plans. On Enterprise, an owner turns it on in Organization settings > Artifacts.
- It counts toward your plan's usage limits. Longer or more complex animations use more.
- Your video will not match mine frame for frame. Treat the first version as a draft and steer it with the follow-ups.
